This past weekend we had a birthday party for Noah at the soft play gym at our nearby rec center in Alexandria. Noah loves this play gym (we’ve spent many winter days there), so it was the perfect place for the party. There’s a big ball pit with a slide and lots of big, padded blocks and shapes for kids to run around on and build with. Yep, it’s a great place for toddlers to exert their energy! Here are some of our favorite photos of the fun:
We played in the gym for an hour or so, and then met in the community room for pizza and cupcakes. The theme of the party was Thomas the Train. Shocker, I know! The Thomas cupcakes were sooo yummy!
We are so blessed to have so many close friends with kids Noah’s age. And we’re so lucky to have met so many fun kids from our neighborhood and Noah’s preschool and daycare over the past year or so.
Thank you for joining us Reina, Ari, Max, David, Wendy, Orion, Aubree, Thane, Maddie, Ashlon, Braydon, Colin, Max, Carter, Jack, William and Wyatt! And thank you for bringing the big kids (your parents) too.
We’re also so glad that Grandma Cindy and Grandpa Don could be here for the party as well. Stay tuned for another post about Noah’s adventures with grandma and grandpa this past weekend.
And of course, thank you to everyone who couldn’t join us but who sent birthday cheer.
Noah had a wonderful 3rd birthday!
