We had a great time visiting friends and family in South Dakota last week! Noah did so much fun stuff with Grandma Debbie and Grandpa Rod (“Gamma Debadee” and “Bapa,” as Noah calls them) that we’ll have to recap our adventures over three or four blog posts – get ready!
Right after we flew into Sioux Falls, we met up with my sister’s family for a quick play date at Sertoma Park. Noah had a great time playing with his cousins Abby, Nathan and Cory! They climbed on the jungle gym, went down the slides, played on the teeter-totter, and dug in the dirt.
Here are some fun photos of our afternoon at the park. As you can see, the big kids (Grandma, Grandpa and Ryan) had a blast too.
(This is how wedgies are made!)
And here are a few “selfie” photos of Ryan and the kids. Goofballs!
It was a beautiful day to be outside. And yep, Noah was so tuckered out by the end that he slept all the way to Grandma and Grandpa’s house in DeSmet. Zzzzzzz…
Noah got to play with his cousins again later that week. His newest cousin Wyatt was there too!
The boys had a great time playing cars and trucks and making silly poses for the camera. And Noah and Wyatt had fun cruisin’ around the house.
Here is a short video of Noah and Wyatt. Yep, double trouble!
We can’t wait to see you all again!
Stay tuned for our next post on Noah’s recent adventures in South Dakota with Grandma Debbie and Grandpa Rod!
