This year’s Easter season was filled with lots of fun activities – Noah was busy! Two weekends ago we dyed eggs with our good friend Barbara. We used crayons, stickers and markers to decorate the eggs before we dipped them in dye. This was Noah’s first time dyeing eggs – he loved it! Just look at those beauties!
On Friday Noah had an Easter egg hunt at preschool. The school usually has its annual egg hunt at the park across the street. It rained earlier on Friday though, so the park was too muddy…but that didn’t stop these little egg hunters! Noah’s loot included candy (of course!), Play-Doh, toy Easter bunnies, stickers and Mickey Mouse Band-Aids.
Here is a short video of the Polar Bear and Penguin classes singing and dancing while they waited for the egg hunt to begin. “Mashed banana, mashed banana!”

On Sunday we went to our good friends Matt and Carolyn’s house and had an amazing Easter feast. We had lamb, squash risotto, collard greens, asparagus, hummus, homemade rye bread and a chocolate cake shaped like a bunny. We’re still stuffed!
After lunch we walked to a nearby park so Noah and Jerome could have an Easter egg hunt. It only took them about two minutes to snatch up all the eggs. Their buckets were full! The eggs had stickers, candy and dinosaur figurines. Jackpot!
The boys (even the big ones!) snuck in some fun on the jungle gym before we headed home.
We had a wonderful Easter season, and we hope you did too!
