As you read in our previous blog post, we had an AWESOME time in Minnesota with Grandma Debbie and Grandpa Rod…and we haven’t even told you about the rest of it yet!
After we finished up at the Minnesota Children’s Museum, we headed to the Mall of America. Our first stop was the Hard Rock Cafe for lunch. Noah worked up an appetite after his busy morning at the museum!
After lunch we stopped by Lego Land – Noah and Ryan couldn’t miss that!
Next we headed to Nickelodeon Universe in the middle of the mall for rides, rides, rides! First we went to two of Noah’s favorite rides from our previous trip: the Big Rigs and Diego’s Rescue Rider (or as Noah calls it, “the crazy bus”).
Then we tried two new rides – new to us anyway. Noah rode the Crazy Cars (twice!) and then the Barnyard Hayride roller coaster.
That’s all the rides we had time for that Sunday…but don’t worry, we went back for more fun the next day!
That Monday Noah rode the carousel with Grandpa and Blue’s Skiddo with me…and we went back to the Big Rigs and the barnyard roller coaster too – multiple times!
Noah even talked us into going on the Log Chute. We rode our log through the mountain’s tunnels…and at the end we took a 40-foot drop into the water. Yeah, we got wet!
Noah had a blast going on rides with Grandma and Grandpa at the Mall of America, and Ryan and I were glad to get in on the fun too!
Here’s a compilation of mini videos of our fun at Nickelodeon Universe. It’s a little longer (about three minutes), but it’s definitely worth watching! As a quick reminder: If you’re reading this post in an email, you may need to open the blog webpage in order to view the video. To do so, just click on the title of the post (the link in blue) at the top of the email to open the blog in your web browser.
Yep, all the kids (the little one and the four big ones) had a blast!
We headed back to the airport later that afternoon. While we were there, Noah got to take another one of his favorite rides – the airport tram! Check out this short video of Noah on the tram. He got a front row seat!
Our trip went by fast, but we had a great time. Noah can’t wait for his next adventure with Grandma Debbie and Grandpa Rod!
