Playing at Sesame Place: Part 2

As you read in our previous blog post, we visited Elmo and his furry friends at Sesame Place earlier this month. Noah had a BLAST his first day on Sesame Street … and the second day was just as much fun.

First we headed back to Cookie’s Monster Land for another spin on the Monster Mix-Up.

Here’s a quick video of Ryan and Noah “mixing it up.” (As a quick reminder: If you’re reading this post in an email, you may need to open the blog webpage in order to view the video. To do so, just click on the title of the post (the link in blue) at the top of the email to open the blog in your web browser.) Whew, they were going fast!

Next we rode the “waves” on Captain Cookies High “C’s” Adventure – ahoy matey!

And here’s a short video of that ride too. Can you keep track of their ship?

Next we headed to Elmo’s World to blast off on the UFO – unidentified furry object.

After Noah had his fill of rides, we stopped by the “Smile with Me” pavilion and had our photos taken with Cookie Monster and Elmo.

And then we tracked down Bert and Ernie outside of Mr. Hooper’s store!

And of course, we had to fit in time to ride the Sesame Street fire truck too.

Next we headed to Sesame Place’s water park. Noah splashed around in the shallow sprayground for quite awhile (it was a great day for it!), and then we floated in inner tubes down Big Bird’s Rambling River. Noah didn’t care too much for going under the waterfalls on the river, but he said he’d like to try it again when he’s bigger – so we’re going back! We’ll bring a waterproof camera the next time we go too, so that we can share photos. Ha.

We of course had to stop by the gift shop before we left. Noah’s favorite character to meet was definitely Ernie, so that’s who Noah chose to bring home with us.

Sesame Place was a huge success. All the kids (the little one and the two big ones) had a great time! It was a perfect weekend outing. So if you ever have to ask: “Can you tell me how to get … how to get to Sesame Street?” – we can tell you!
