As you read in our previous post, we visited Ryan’s family in Ohio the last week of July. (Yeah, we’re a little behind on blog posts!) Our last full day in Ohio, Noah’s cousins Jewel and Jenson, Aunt Jill, Aunt Kristen and Uncle Jim came to Grandma Cindy and Grandpa Don’s house too – nearly the entire gang was there!
That afternoon we took the kids to nearby Malek Park. The kids (and the big kids too!) had fun climbing on the jungle gym and going down the slides.
Here is a short video of Noah, Jewel and Jenson going down the slide together – weeeeeee! (As a quick reminder: If you’re reading this post in an email, you may need to open the blog webpage in order to view the video. To do so, just click on the title of the post (the link in blue) at the top of the email to open the blog in your web browser.)
We of course had to pause playing every now and then to watch a train go by – so cool!
Noah, Jewel and Jenson spent a lot of time on the swings too.
And here’s a short video of the boys on the swings…
The kids also had fun rocking in the trains and moving dirt with the digger.
As you can tell from the photos and videos, it was definitely a beautiful day to be at the park. We lucked out!
After the park we headed back to Grandma and Grandpa’s house to hang out in the backyard. Noah and Jewel had a quick snack and then helped Grandma pick pinecones. Jenson and Ryan supervised.
Aunt Kristen got in on the fun too!
Whew, we had a busy day of playing! We worked up quite an appetite, so the pizza picnic for supper hit the spot – yummy!
Noah had a blast playing with his cousins Jewel and Jenson at Grandma and Grandpa’s house. Just look at this fun crew!
We had a great time in Ohio. If you missed our previous post about the first few days of our trip, you can read it here. Yep, Noah had fun exploring the local attractions with Grandma Cindy and Grandpa Don. We can’t wait to see you all again soon!
