Last Saturday we had a surprise visit from Uncle Chris. He was flying through DC on his way to Seattle, but he missed his connecting flight at the Dulles airport due to the weather. Instead of sitting at the airport all day waiting for the next flight, he booked a flight for the next morning so that he could spend the day with us. And because Sunday was his birthday, we got to help him celebrate early – double score for us!
Because of the weather, we spent the afternoon just hanging out at the house. Yeah, Chris got to see what Noah’s room looks like when we aren’t expecting company – messy but still fun!
We took Chris out for supper at one of our favorite local restaurants – City Kitchen.
After supper we headed home for a small birthday party.
Here’s a short video of Noah blowing out the candles for Uncle Chris. As a quick reminder: If you’re reading this post in an email, you may need to open the blog webpage in order to view the video.
