Last weekend we went to the annual LEGO BrickFair in nearby Chantilly, VA. Noah was so excited!
We got to see lots of awesome creations and displays by local LEGO enthusiasts. We saw LEGO trains, ships, planes, street scenes (including skyscrapers), a castle, a fortress and more – check it out!
Here’s a short video of one of the train displays. So cool!

We saw cool constructions of DC landmarks and icons too, including Union Station, the U.S. Botanic Garden, the Smithsonian Castle and Air Force One.
Noah’s favorite part of the BrickFair was building his own creations at the Stay & Play area. And yes, the big kid (Ryan) got in on the building action too!
And of course, there were lots of vendors selling all things LEGO. Noah and Ryan spent nearly 45 minutes going through this massive bin of LEGOs to find the best pieces to fill their cup. Yes, they were very serious scavengers!
We had an AWESOME time at the LEGO BrickFair, and we look forward to going again next summer. Who knows, maybe Noah and Ryan will display their own LEGO creations there someday! Ha.
